  Welcome to the IPA ....

"As International President of the International Police Association, I would like to welcome you to our WWW pages. The information provided gives valuable information to members, whilst informing non-members about our Association.

It would be impossible to cover every aspect of the International Police Association in this site and you are encouraged to make contact or view the Website within your own country via the 'National Section's' page.  If you are not already a member, go to the 'How to Join' page for information on becoming part of this global organisation.

So why not stay a while, enjoy your visit, then come back again and again for the latest information.  Welcome to the International Police Association!"

  International events calendar
This area of our web site has recently been updated and enhanced.

Details of all official notified IPA International events can now be viewed online and, where available, information packs and reservation forms can be downloaded.

Events have also be divided into categories to make searching for a specific event a little easier. Members can even sign up for an email list to keep up-to-date with the latest events and functions.

  IPA Houses
It all began with a tent in a German field back in 1959. Now there are IPA Houses in 21 countries around the world with more being opened each year.

IPA Houses allow members to visit countries and stay in cheaper priced accommodation.

A comprehensive web site is available to view at www.ipa-houses.info

  Arthur Troop bust

At the IEC in 2001 the delegates from all the countries represented at the meeting approved the idea of a statue in memory of Arthur Troop, founder of the IPA.

A bust was designed and created by renowned sculptor Brigitte Wuest and was unveiled at IBZ Gimborn on 9th October 2004.
