We were very sorry to hear that
Bill Kroeger died at his home in San Jose,
California, on the 4th March, following a
long illness. Bill served the USA Section for many
years, most recently as Secretary General from 2000
to 2006. Bill and his wife Lilly travelled to many
IPA countries and attended several annual
conferences. He will be greatly missed, by his own
Section and his many IPA friends throughout the
World. Condolences have been sent to Bill’s family
on your behalf. Any messages sent to Bill’s e-mail
address – billkipa@aol.com - will reach his family |

- International
Commission appointments
|
|
 |
Nominations were asked from all National Sections
prior to last years the World Congress for the five
International Commissions. Over 100 names
were provided for 25 positions.
In making choices, the PEB had
difficult decisions to make, taking into
consideration experience, capabilities, skills,
language etc. It is appreciated that many IPA
members have these qualifications and we hope those
not selected are not too disappointed.
The final decisions regarding members
for the ICC and IPC Commissions have been made and a
full list of those
successful members
and the tasks of the Commissions are available to
view by

- Offer from British
Section member
|
 |
If any members are intending to visit
Northern Ireland in May to attend the
North West 200 Road Races,
Peter McKenna, a GB member, has
offered to accommodate a couple at his home for the
duration of the races. Roads are closed for this
week-long event, which attracts up to 200,000
spectators. Motorbikes reach speeds of up to 200
m.p.h. along what is widely regarded as one of the
most spectacular tracks in the world, close to the
Giants Causeway and
Bushmills Distillery. If there are any interested
members living near to one of the Moto GP locations,
Peter would love his offer to be reciprocated at
some time in the future.
